🌐 Why Wi-Fi isn’t always enough

One of the challenges many customers faced with the older easyMETER models was Wi-Fi coverage. In many homes, digital meters are located in the basement or technical rooms — often places with very weak Wi-Fi signal. This could sometimes cause unstable connections, interruptions, or limited performance.

With easyMETER+, we solved this once and for all.

Of course, it still supports Wi-Fi (fast and easy to set up).
But now, for the very first time, it also supports Ethernet (RJ45).

That means you can connect your easyMETER+ directly with a cable, ensuring maximum stability and reliability, no matter where your meter is located. Switching between Wi-Fi and Ethernet is as simple as performing a firmware update.

🔀 Built-in P1 splitter = more possibilities

Another huge improvement is the integrated P1 splitter. In older setups, connecting multiple P1 devices required external adapters, adding cost and complexity.

With the easyMETER+:

You get P1-IN (to connect to your digital meter).
You also get P1-OUT, allowing you to connect another P1 device directly, without any extra hardware.

And if your additional P1 device needs more power? Easy. Just plug in a standard USB-C cable to the easyMETER+, and it will act as an active P1 splitter — supplying enough energy through the P1-OUT.

Under the hood, the easyMETER+ runs on a faster ESP32-C3 CPU at 160 MHz. This makes it more responsive, more capable of handling complex integrations, and future-proof for upcoming features.
