The Walloon Region grants a subsidy aimed at partially reimbursing the installation of measurement and control equipment for individuals. 

This is commonly referred to as: Prime Domotique. 

What about 2024? Can I still benefit from a 40% refund for my easyNRJ kit in 2024? 

This article aims to shed light on the situation and will be updated as events unfold. 

1. Eligibility

To be eligible for the subsidy, a product must achieve at least one of the following objectives: 

#Objective 1: Increase self-consumption in near real-time 

✅ The easyMETER provides real-time updates (updated every 5 seconds) on your consumption/injection into the grid

✅ The easyCOLOR also provides information without the need to turn on your phone or screen

 

#Objective 2: Shift electrical loads to periods when electricity production is abundant 

✅ The easyPLUG and easyCOLOR allow you to automatically charge your numerous batteries (lithium or thermal, boilers, heat pumps, etc.). They activate only when you inject surplus energy into the grid.

 

#Objective 3: Reduce energy consumption 

✅ The easyCOLOR indicates the intensity of your energy consumption from the grid, as well as from any device connected to the easyCOLOR, in real-time. 

 

With easyNRJ, you can achieve 3️⃣ objectives out of 3️⃣ 🎉🥳🎈🎊

Due to its ability to achieve the three objectives mentioned above, easyNRJ solutions are now officially included in the list of products eligible for the Domotics Subsidy in Wallonia.  

2. Extension of Domotics Subsidy in 2024

We have contacted the administration regarding the validity of the Domotics Subsidy in 2024. We have received written confirmation that a legislative amendment project in this regard has been approved in the first reading by the Walloon Government. 

See below, the decree has yet to come into force (no date provided), but purchases made BEFORE its entry into force will still be eligible for the subsidy, provided that invoices are submitted within 4 months of the decree coming into force.

Example:
If the decree comes into force on June 1, 2024 (hopefully sooner), an invoice issued in January 2024 will be eligible for the subsidy as long as it is submitted to the administration before October 1, 2024.
